The Mechanicville Area Community Services Center was founded in 1969 as teen drop in center, when a group of parents leveraged community resources to provide a safe and supervised place for youth to go after school, on weekends, and during summer vacation. The Community Center is a private, not-for-profit agency whose mission over the years has expanded to meet the needs of the community.  Today the Community Center provides comprehensive support services to enhance the quality of life of area youth and families.
